道生一，一生二，二生三，三生万物。
Dao is the essence of the Universe, from Dao ( Un-manifested) comes with everything (manifested). At the ultimate level, there is no time, and everything is happening at once, we are living in the eternal Now moment. When we create a thought, an action, an experience / consequence consciously or unconsciously, the Un-manifested becomes the manifested, therefore we can experience what we created.
We come from the un-manifested, born into the world with a physical body, grow up and experience life in various ways, while growing up / growing older, we become wiser and more knowledgeable, at the same time we are one step closer to death (un-manifested). Returning back to the Dao, or back to Oneness with the Universe, this will complete cycle of life. In that sense, there is no need to fear death, for Death can be the greatest teacher of life. It shows us how precious life is, and how beautiful the cycle can be. Without death, we will never understand the importance of life, since there is no death, we can live forever, which means forever procrastinating, forever not learning, forever suffering.
It is in the essence of Being, we understand more deeply about the Universe, and there are no words which can fully describe what the Universe is, what God is, or what Dao is. The words expressed are limited and not the whole Truth, yet we can sense the Truth from within through silence and stillness.
